2nd Day Cycling (12 November) - Towards Svay Rieng, Cambodia

Outside a school - fruit stop where we refreshed, ate fruit to give us sugar, and nuts for energy. Many were at schools or temples and the school kids always gathered round in wonder at these Westerners on bicycles. Many were learning English, and I cycled a couple of kilometers with one kid in a higher year. His English was good, and he showed me his school book for English. No wonder his English was good, although I'd question his understanding of English US culture as the book included extracts from a "Hello" type magazine. ("The most famous couple give an interview - from "Hi" magazine!)
