2nd Day Cycling (12 November) - Cao Dao Temple, Tay Ninh, Vietnam

The Cao Dao religiion is a synthesis of the world's major religions - Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Confucionism... but not Judaism (perhaps as the Vietnamese founder had not contact with Jews). It is essentially monotheistic, and was founded in the 1920s. They believe that we are now in the 3rd age - leading to world enlightenment and peace. The religion is followed by a few million Vietnamese but nobody else outside. The temple itself was extremely colourful - these show the outside.
