1st Day Cycling (11 November) - Cu Chi Tunnels

Before starting to cycle, we were taken to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, around 20km outside Ho Chi Minh City. These were a network of 200km of tunnels that were used by the Viet Kong in the Vietnam war. They had a number of levels, to protect villagers from the US bombing attacks, and also serve as ways of getting close to the US (and its allies) for their own attacks.
