In March 2012, Arthur Weiss, AWARE's CEO, was elected to serve as Membership Development Director of the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) for 2012-March 2014. (Press Release). Michelle Rawl of Rawl Research Inc. will succeed Arthur from April 2014. AIIP is the organisation for independent information specialists and has a global membership with expertise covering all aspects of the information profession. Publications / Presentations

Booking is now open for the ICI-4 workshop on Competitive Intelligence Secondary Research taking place on March 17-18 in London and the Institute of Competitive Intelligence's conference in Bad Nauheim, Germany, 8-11 April 2014 where Arthur Weiss will be leading 2 workshops and giving a conference presentation on the impact of communication style and culture on effective CI.

Other forthcoming events include the Casablanca Competitive and Market Intelligence Forum 2014.

Recent events included training workshops held in Mauritius, China and Malaysia and a War Gaming workshop held in Dublin, Ireland.
